Not sure of evening classes, but UMDNJ has an acclerated BSN program for people with degrees in other fields (http://sn.umdnj.edu/); I am starting there in January. Also, I just got word that NJCU in Jersey City is starting its own accelerated program. You may want to check them out as well - njcu.edu. However, you will still have to get your science pre-reqs (A&P, Chemistry, etc.) somewhere else unless they will accept your credits from PTA school. As far as doing it part time, that's not available there and they keep telling us we CAN'T work while in school, so you might want to think of a part-time RN program instead. But I have heard from others that most programs tell you that and it depends on the study habits/personal obligations of the student as to whether they can work or not during the program. Hope this helps.
Try this program. There is only a few weeks of residency requirement spread over the year long program. You do c another 720 hours or so of clinicals in your local hospital.
Since you are a physical threapy assistant, you could probably convince the Nurse educator at your hospital to help set up your training.
The folks on here who have spoken about this program all say its good but TOUGH!
Good luck.
