ABSN Program while Working?

I was planning to quit my full time job and start an ABSN program in three weeks. Unfortunately, some things have changed with my husband's income and we can't afford for me to quit my job yet. Hopefully by second semester, but it looks as if I would have to work about 20 hours a week to make our ends meet for our family.

For those of you who have completed an ABSN program or are currently attending one, have you had time to work? My school doesn't offer deferment and I don't want to reapply and hope that I get in again, next August. I am hoping that I can work part time and do well in school. What are your experiences?
