Abington Dixon School of Nursing

Hi all,

Wondering if there are any applicants to Abington Memorial Hospitals Dixon School of Nursing for the 2011 year?

I originally applied for 2010 early decision, but ultimately was placed on the waiting list. Because I wasn't accepted for 2010, I now have to re-take A&P 1 & 2 (past the 5 year mark by 2 months on A&PII). I have all of my stuff in for this years early decision and have decided to re-take the teas test.

i'm very bitter about not being accepted because i can't understand why. I had a gpa of 3.8 and my teas scores were good enough for early decision. my only negative comment from them was that I could do a bit better on the math portion. I have been at Manor College since Spring 2010 and am currently holding down a 4.0 GPA- if they don't accept me this year I think I will just go absolutely crazy!

Just wondering if there are any others out there in the same boat....

Hello all!

Congratulations to all that have been accepted and good luck to all who are still waiting!! I just found out I've been accepted to Abington SON, Roxborough SON, and Temple Northeastern....I was just wondering if anyone could advise which is the better program...Im having trouble deciding for I heard Abington is good as well as Roxborough...haven't heard too much about Temple's though....Thanks so much for your suggestions!!

Congrats to all who have been accepted! To keep up with my list (even if today IS the day I find out) if if meant I'd get my letter today I would waste another 5 weeks raising a "virtual child" for the lifespan requirement at MC3!

I got accepted into the Day Program!!

I got accepted to the day program as well. It's funny because when the letter came I was scared to open it. I came downstairs and asked if I got any mail. My aunt handed me the envelope and said just this. I said oh brother and walked outside. As I was getting in my car something said open it. So I did all I could do was cry, my hard work had finally paid off. I'm so excited and so nervous, cannot wait til i hear what the next step is.
