ABGs and pulm edema/cardiogenic shock

Looking for help with expected ABGs for pulmonary edema and cardiogenic shock. I have from my notes the following and I think I wrote one (or both!) wrong. Please help! There was nothing in my books or through a google search. Thanks!

pulm edema: dec PO2, blow off CO2, resp alkalosis. eventually metabolic acidosis.

cardiogenic shock: dec PO2, dec PCO2 early - metabolic acidosis, then inc PCO2 - respiratory acidosis.

Specializes in med/surg, telemetry, IV therapy, mgmt.

there is all kinds of information on abgs where you can find the answers to your questions in the links on post #46 of this thread. i know there are one or two websites there that discuss this and give examples of compensation:
