AACN Hosts Largest Online Resource for Teaching Opportunities in Schools of Nursing

in response to the growing shortage of nurse educators, the american association of colleges of nursing (aacn) has created an online resource to support nurses considering full- or part-time teaching careers. called faculty career link, this information clearinghouse features a nurse educator career profile, lists of academic programs that prepare faculty, financial aid opportunities for graduate study, and links to faculty development programs.

found at http://www.aacn.nche.edu/careerlink, this resource also includes the most comprehensive list of faculty vacancies in nursing colleges and universities available on the web, with more than 170 teaching opportunities at 125 schools in 43 states, the district of columbia, the virgin islands, canada, and beirut.
