A recruiter contacted me, and now I am confused.

I applied for a position at clear lake regional medical center a week ago. And I missed a phone call from a recruiter at 4 pm but she left a message. Then there was an email from the recruiter that was sent at 4: 40pm. But unfortunately, I checked both of them after 6 pm. So I called back this morning at around 9 am, but no one answered. I tried two other times, and no one answered again!

What I don't understand is why she called and left a message then emailed me saying call her back if she wasn't going to answer. I mean,, it seems to me that she was definitely interested in my resume. But now I am starting to think that she moved on to other people.

I really don't get it. Should I still wait for her to call me or give her a call tomorrow again?

Is there anyone who was in the same situation?

She maybe busy and you should leave her a message along with a reply to her email. If you want to be persistent, you can continue to call her till she answers. Best times to get them are probably first thing in the morning or right after lunch.

Yeah... I think she was busy. I understand that they are extremely busy, but in my position it cab be very frustrated... Anyway I got a hold of the recruiter this morning, and she said she would call me back in 24 hrs. I didn't get to have an interview or anything. She was really short and sounded busy. I couldn't do anything yesterday and I guess it will be the same today.

Well,, She never called me back. I wasted 4 days waiting for a call. I am just very frustrated...
