Hello everyone I'm Laura. For the past 6 or so month I've been deciding what I want to go to school for. I've decided on nursing, because I love helping other people feel better. It might sound corny, but it makes me feel better as a person!
Anyway. I was wondering if anyone has gone to North Metro Tech? Did you feel that you were qualified to do the job compared to someone who went to a bigger, private LPN school?
And I've heard that there are very few jobs as LPN's in Georgia. I have been reading around and realize that there are not many hospitals that hire, but other places like nursing homes, LTC places, ect.
I was just wondering also, how long it took you to find your job after graduating from school.
Any help/questions answered would be GREATLY appreciated!!
Thank you in advance!

Hi there. I didn't attend North Metro Tech, but have precepted several students from there. They were terrific! Very knowledgeable and eager to help and learn while in clinicals. From working alongside them, I would recommend the school to prospective students.
Good luck with your search!
