Sure, I hadn't completed all of my prerequisites when I applied. I suspect most applicants haven't. If you have a 4.0 average, you'll most certainly make the first cut! For what it's worth, Curry received over 300 applications this year.
Have students ever been accepted to the program without having completed all of the prerequisites by the application deadline?
Thank you! That will make waiting out the next few weeks a little bit more bearable, knowing there is hope. I read a few posts from people talking about applicants who had excellent GPAs and incomplete prerequisites who were beat out of a spot by people with lower GPAs but completed prerequisites. I started to wonder if not having finished the prerequisites would likely eliminate me from consideration. It's good to hear that there have been a precedence of students being accepted even without all of the prerequisites.
Thanks so much for the reassurance. Now I'll just keep my fingers crossed that I make the final cut. If not, there's always next year!
Yes, you are not supposed to apply unless at least 2 science pre-reqs are completed. From their website:

I am currently waiting to hear back from Curry regarding my application for the ACCEL program. I know that Curry places a lot of emphasis on the prerequisites. I have a 4.0 in the prerequisites that I have completed, but I haven't completed them all. Have students ever been accepted to the program without having completed all of the prerequisites by the application deadline?
(I've been reading older threads and it seems like the people that were accepted had completed their prerequisites prior to applying. I'm just wondering if there have been instances of people getting accepted without completing them all prior to applying.)
Thank you in advance for your response,
Karen
