A few pre-CRNA questions...

I have a few pre-CRNA questions.

Currently, I hold a bachelor's in microbiology, and am in an ADN-RN program semester 1. I have extensive previous medical experience. I plan to work in the ICU asap after graduating and and work on my BSN during that time... and only after I feel competent in the ICU will I apply for CRNA school.

My questions are this:

Overall, my gpa is pretty high, 3.9... but I do have a C in organic chemistry I, (my professor thought learning physical chemistry in lieu of O-chem 1 was more important). Obviously, I plan to retake this and any other class I've gotten lower than a B in...

How much chemistry, organic chemistry, physical chemistry, biochemistry is used? I understand the pharmacology aspect but also realize that many ADN and BSN progams do not even require chemistry I and further do not apply it in the nursing education. I'm wanting to know if it is more focused on chemistry, its application, or both.

Second, and last, is there anything one could study to prepare for CRNA school? I found that reading most of my texts 1 semester in advance helped once I was actually in class. Would it be of use to obtain some CRNA textbook to get a feel for the education?

Thanks in advance.
