hallow guys, am new to the site. i have a certificate in nursing/midwifery obtained in 2003. am practising. Currently am looking for a job in RSA, Botswana, UK and the USA. Any one with the necessary information concerning hosptals, adresses and how i can get a job in any of these countries please write back. Thanks.

You will need to apply for licensure to be able to work in the US. I would recommend going that route before looking for a position. You will need to complete an application for the state Board of Nursing, where you wish to practice, as well as a Visa Screen application.

You can always endorse to another state once you have received your license to practice.

I suggest that you follow what is in the sticky above concerning licensure in NY. It will be the easiest and fastest for you............

Licensure in the UK involves a similar process, but you go thru NMC instead.
