Are you talking about microdrips? If so, microdrips are 60 gtt/cc. Try using this formula cc/time x drip factor (drops (gtt)/cc or ml). When a question asks you for the drip rate, they usually want it in drops per minute, so you may have to convert the time (hrs) into minutes. I hope that this isn't too confusing.
oops sorry... what i meant was gtts not qtts :bowingpur
for now i know the formula of my letter B follow up question.. what really bugs me is the first question
the problem is asking for the RATE of the IV fluid and to get that i was thinking of volume x qtt factor
duration x 60min/hr
my queston is...where's the volume in the problem?? 80cc/hr or 500cc? and what's the duration? my classmates used the 80cc/hr and some used the 500cc.....im just waiting for the results of our assignment now... someone please enlighten me
thanks CISCOPATRICK06 for your answer....
