Beginning my first course A & P. I have had it before and just barely missed the cut off. A little nervous about it. Any pointers out there? What did you find most helpful, not helpful?

Are you taking the exam or doing the online course?
Doing exam!
EC practice exams were helpful. Some people like notes from Studygroup101.com. There are great podcasts and videos on YouTube if you like audio or video - Google Gerald Cizadlo and Marian Diamond. I had the recommended A&P book (bought used, cheap cheap because someone spilled what I hope was Kool-aid on it, lol) for areas where I needed heavier review.
I could have studied forever, but I finally forced myself to pay for and schedule the exam, effectively giving myself a deadline. I highly recommend getting your exam scheduled at the start of your studies. Good luck!
Thank you, I was thinking I need to go ahead and schedule exam otherwise I will put it off. I did order the Studygroup101. I planned to buy one of the practice exams prior to study to see where I was on things and then another afterwards. Thank you for your info.
Just to clarify, the EC practice exams are purchased as a set - you get both, but can take them separately. :)

Hello Irish Angel,
I am also just begining A&P, the volume of information is so intimidating! I've had the books and study guides for two months and have not made much progress. Would you like to study together? I could use some motivation and encouragement. If so, my email is [email protected]. Good luck with your studies !
Sure we can, the more the merrier right?! So as of right now I am obtaining study material so that I can study. I have seen where ppl talk about studygroup101 so I was thinking about starting there. I just bought the cd and got it today.
Okay, I have SG101 already...shoot me an email and hopefully we can come up with some sort of plan.
