Oh yes, the joys of information overload!!! I myself am also a very visual learner... when I took A&P 1, I had to teach myself to study in a whole new way! I know you have a lot of information to study in a short amount of time, but DO NOT try to cram it all in, and try not to approach it with the thought "I have to memorize it all." This will only put undue stress on you, and in the end you won't end up absorbing anything. What helped me was to begin by reading through the gobs of information as if it were a book (and forcing myself to find interest in the 'blah' subjects lol.) After completely (and calmly) reading through, I'd break the information down into groups and reheorifice the material as if I were teaching it to someone myself. It sounds dumb but it was like I was role-playing as a professor in my head lol. And yes, if you try to write out flashcards for all the material you'll be left with no time to study them. Instead, try making a list when going through the information on terms and concept that are are big struggle and then make flashcards from there. I know that all this information may be something that you may already know and may be completely useless, all I can say is... hang in there :) Fortunately, I found A&P 2 to be A LOT easier, many of the main concepts that were difficult in A&P 1 were reinforced (actually, most of the information in A&P 2 was reinforced!) What you wrote is understandable. I look through the 28 page packet and get overwhelmed because I feel I need to know it word forr word and end up not even knowing what half of the words mean, like depolarization, I just don't understand that word and what goes on. So I have started looking things that don't make sense up on google and try to better understand something. I also get nervous because since her tests r based on packets, I feel that I have to study every inch of the handout because she bolds and underlines a majority of the packet meaning u must know it. I just hope I survive thru this last week in summer school

Although this is a hard thing to come to reality with, you are not going to be able to memorize everything! Learn what you can and remember... all you have to do is pass :) I'm sure you are going to survive!!!!... Don't worry, and BREATHE!!!!:)

Go to YouTube, type in "depolarization", and you'll get a ton of short videos. Watch a few and I bet you'll understand the concept in no time. Do that whenever you come across difficult A & P concepts. YouTube has been my best friend lately - it really does help.
