A&P Help

Published

I know this seems to be a pretty basic class for nursing students and it's our foundation, but I'm struggling big time with A&P. Do any of you know any good websites or apps that may help me out? All I do is study, study, study every chance I get but I'm sure as you all know, that isn't as often as it should be!

Hey Krista,

First, if you're not studying as often as you should be then you need to start studying more. lol I quickly found out that you can either go to nursing school OR have a life...but not both.

As for extra A&P help, Khan Academy is pretty good if you like videos. Try to keep ahead with all your readings, that way, you can approach your tutor or professor with questions instead of trying to catch up. Good luck! :)

hey!! I totally understand how you feel about A&P because I am at same pace as you are. I am also struggling with A&P. I study everyday for A&P. I usually rewrite my notes, also I got a tutor, make a study group. there is website bodyquiz.net you could take quizzes, I think this website is really helpful with the body parts. Also someone told me about this Allison.com website, I haven't looked it yet but It might be helpful for you. good luck

A/P sucks. I tried. Fail...well okay, a D but still.

Good old A&P! I suggest you find out the best way you retain knowledge.. Most people just read and write but that's not for me. I agreee c. vdw Khan Academy is a great for reviews about the body systems! Overall, I always fall back on to youtube, and print out actually pictures of the systems i need to know and label them off from there. But as for studying Apps I suggest the 3.99$ Anatomy and Physiology for on the go studying, and for studying and retaining the material try to memorize with acronyms and get the basis of the whole concept not just remembering where things are and what they do! Ex. Bones of the Wrist =Some Lovers Try Positions That They Cannot Handle... For an acronym and as for concepts Skeletal system functions as... Protection/ Support / Storage / Movement / Blood Formation. One last thing! Quizlet is the best place for a overall review! Good Luck!
