Feb 19Feb 19 President Trump is alternating preening and dozing at his Board of Peace, aka Bored of Peace, aka Board of P***. He is pledging $10 billion dollars to his board, at the same time he is threatening to attack Iran. https://www.nytimes.com/live/2026/02/19/us/trump-news#section-792964749 Oddly, no, predictably, Trump's reason for attacking Iran is unclear. https://www.cnn.com/2026/02/19/politics/trump-iran-strikes-nuclear-program-board-of-peace-analysis Where is he getting all this money to throw at a faux United Nations and bomb the snot out of Iran?

We already have the bombs, ships and personnel. They are in the area and seem ready to go upon command but Trump is being vague about his decision...maybe...maybe not. Earlier this month a similar amount was passed for 2026, 835.5 billion. As to where this money is coming from, I would say the American middle class tax payer and cuts to other tax funded programs, as well as deficit spending.

I consider it all deficit spending. Trump has a history of spending until the money runs out, I.e. declaring bankruptcy.
Feb 22Feb 22 Doing a bit of a deeper dive: Quote In FY 2025 total government spending was $7.01 trillion and total revenue was $5.23 trillion, resulting in a deficit of $1.78 trillion, a decrease of $41 billion from the previous fiscal year. https://fiscaldata.treasury.gov/americas-finance-guide/national-deficit/#:~:text=In FY 2025 total government, from the previous fiscal year. It doesn't appear that Trump is doing better with deficit spending. Biden had similar numbers but pre-covid deficit spending was lower for both Biden and Trump but for both of them deficit spending continued year after year. Obama had increased numbers as well particularly after the Great Recession. Bush had a good year his first year and then driven by tax cuts and the war it went up again. Year after year the deficit spending increases by billions and projections are this isn't going to stop. Both sides put lip service to responsible spending but it doesn't happen. They have their pet projects like ICE, the military and cutting revenue. Democrats have their pet projects as well. Now their pet project is the fight over DHS funding. Mind you the poll I think is a Democrat funded one and 52% is a slim majority. Quote 1,000 registered voters, released Feb. 11, that found that 52 percent of respondents want changes to how immigration agencies operate before funding DHS. And roughly three-in-five voters do not want to spend any additional money on ICE. https://www.politico.com/news/2026/02/20/shutdown-stalemate-deepens-as-white-house-dems-dig-in-on-dhs-funding-00789614?nid=0000018f-3124-de07-a98f-3be4d1400000&nname=politico-toplines&nrid=b310ddb3-e206-4169-8c24-a21db2c42e31
Apr 2Apr 2 Experts The Donald J Trump Presidential Library and Museum Foundation released a 2 minute video of the towering structure planned for Miami--to be completed by end of Trumps presidency "which may include a hotel". Appears to tower over current Miami skyline, Quatar jet planned for lobby area. In September 2025, Gov. Ron DeSantis and the Florida Cabinet voted to give his presidential library foundation valuable public land next to Miami's Freedom tower for free with stipulation "a Presidential library, museum, and/or center" begun within five years. Don't think they were expecting a hotel at the top. NPR 4/1/2026: What to know about Trump's future presidential library, which he says may be a hotel CNN 3/31/2026 Trump shares renderings of a towering presidential library Quote ...Asked about the mock-ups on Tuesday, Trump said the building would likely be a hotel, telling reporters, "I don't believe in building libraries or museums.” "This concept could be office, but it's most likely gonna be a hotel with a beautiful building underneath, a 747 Air Force One in the lobby, which is going to be a trick,” Trump, a longtime real-estate developer, said during an executive order signing ceremony at the White House. The renderings, designed by Miami-based architecture firm Bermello Ajamil, include reconstructions of Trump's gilded Oval Office and the Rose Garden. Scenes in the mock-ups also resemble the "Presidential Walk of Fame" installed on the West Colonnade and plans for an immense ballroom Trump is hoping to build where the East Wing once stood. References to key moments in Trump's political ascendance also appear in the video. Visitors are pictured riding a golden escalator, much like the one Trump glided down when he announced his first presidential campaign. And inside a massive auditorium, a towering golden statue of the president with his first raised is seen on stage, mimicking his reaction following the July 2024 attempt on his life in Butler, Pennsylvania....

Apr 4Apr 4 A summary of Trump's week. As the mid-terms approach he's becoming more unpopular with some major challenges. While I do have TDS, I don't want Trump to fail. Quote That Trump is taking a political hit because of negative views of an economy tied to a war is as remarkable as it is ironic. This is a president, after all, who was elected for a second time in large measure by promising to fix high prices and stay out of wars. "We will measure our success not only by the battles we win," he said during his second inaugural address, "but also by the wars that we end — and perhaps most importantly, the wars we never get into." https://www.npr.org/2026/04/03/nx-s1-5771684/trump-iran-war-gas-prices-bondi
Apr 5Apr 5 Experts Easter message from our President: https://truthsocial.com/@realDonaldTrump/116351998782539414/ Quote Happy War Crimes Day to all who celebrate. https://bsky.app/profile/gtconway.bsky.social/post/3miqyluu7ds2r
Apr 5Apr 5 Here is a better Easter message: Jesus died for all the sins of all people who will believe in Him and the work of the cross. Today is the anniversary of the day he rose from the dead after being brutally and painfully crucified for all humanity. The celebration is because God loved the world and gave his only Son that we might live for all eternity in Heaven with Him (vs H@&l). https://notthebee.com/takes/more-than-a-celebration-why-today-matters-more-than-you-think https://notthebee.com/article/was-the-tomb-really-empty-take-a-minute-to-watch-this- Hoping everyone considers their choice very carefully. Happy Easter!
Apr 5Apr 5 Experts Pope Leo's Easter message found here: Quote "Let those who have weapons lay them down. Let those who have the power to unleash wars choose peace. Not a peace pursued by force, but through dialogue. Not with the desire to dominate the other, but to encounter them.” — Pope Leo XIV Interesting Fox viewers response in this thread: Trump vows US will strike Iran's power plants, bridges if Strait of Hormuz is not reopened Quote With all the cussing I'd say Trump is drunk. Except he doesn't drink. This guy is below the standard of a POTUS. Seriously, he has no class. Some people like that, but it's a bit of a disgrace on our nation Easter and before church, I came to read about the heroic rescue of the airman. Instead I get F-bombs and vulgarity from the President. Our national decline is personified in who we have chosen to be our leader. We do not deserve to lead the world. For a purported "Christian", the blasphemy and profanity belittles any strength that he is trying to project. There is no depth of intellect, just a senile, angry, insecure 80 year old spewing unchecked vitriol for an audience of sycophants. Attacking civilian targets such as bridges and power plants are war crimes. We do all know that, right? Nothing says "we prepared for this contingency" like a profanity-laced social media post. Lovely Easter message. I thought he was worried about getting to heaven. Bombing civilian infrastructure, causing a genocide through loss of water supplies, and a mass refugee crisis is not the way to get there. Oh, and it's a war crime under the Geneva Convention.
Apr 5Apr 5 I thought the post from Trump was fake and I shouldn't have been surprised that such a junior high bully response should come from him. It's not the first time he's exhibited unhinged behavior. Iran will retaliate by bombing the Middle East US allies like they've done already. They have nothing to lose and will see their country burn and the whole Middle East with it prior to agreeing to Trump's demands. I am very relieved the American that was shot down was rescued. The thought of him going into Iranian hands was making me sick. Good on the military.
