I took this NCLEX at 8am this morning and was done by 9 on the dot! I had 75 questions, 18 SATA, 1 math, lots of priority/who would you see first, 8 meds (I only got one right for sure), a few infection control and not one delegation (which make me VERY nervous!)
I feel completely numb. I don't feel like I got enough right to have it turn off so early, but at the same time I don't feel like I got enough wrong to be out of the game.
I know there is no way of predicting my results from the # of SATA I got, but has anyone ever heard of someone getting that many SATA and still failing? My last 5 questions were all meds, and I only recongized one of them, so I'm guessing I got 4/5 wrong.
I remember a few weeks ago there was a thread on this site that questioned if the proctor knew if you passed or failed. Well while the proctor was fingerprinting me on my way out he asked me how I did and I said horrible and then he said "i'm sure you did fine, just think- you can finally relax now and enjoy your summer." I may be reading into that too much, he prob says that to everyone just to make them feel better. But I'm just going to hope for the best!!
Please let me know what you think!! THANKS! And best of luck to everyone!

I had a lot of SATA, about MS, about person with low WBC and many others I cannot remember because my brain is gone. I did not get a lot of med questions, just an easy one on motrin and gentamycin. The rest were more like infection control and mother baby questions too. O h god this is freakign torture. I have xanax thank god. THat Margaritta someone suggested sounds good too.
If I saw one more endocrine question on that test I was going to FREAK!!! bam..bam..bam...I kept getting them. :angryfire
The more I think about the test, I worse I think I did. Ahh.. The wait is horrible but since I live in PA my results should be on the states website tomorrow. For once in my life I'm glad I don't live in Cali, I can not even imagine waiting more than 24 hours!
One of my friends told me that most of the SATA questions are still in the experimental stage so they don't count. Is that true? So does it not mean anything that I had 18 SATA?
I'm praying for everyone; it seems like there was a lot of us who took the test today!

Glamgal,
Hopefully now that the LPNs licenses are renewed PA is moving faster. I took my test on the 20th, found out by quick results on the 22nd that I passed, but PA didn't post my number until today. I think my results just got caught up in the end of month LPN renewal process and they were very busy. I just wanted to let you know so you don't panic if they aren't posted as quickly as they were being posted earlier this month. GOOD LUCK!!! Hope to hear good news from you tomorrow.

I'm cheering for you glamgal!:dancgrp:
By "quick results" do you mean you got your results from personview or the state? All of my friends found out their results through the state's website the very next day!
Thanks for responding!

I found out by pearson vue. I know that PA was getting results on the website pretty quickly but when I took mine on the 20th I don't know if they were behind or what because my license just posted yesterday. I know that LPN renewals were due by the end of June so I assumed they were innundated with last minute renewals. Hopefully now that renewals are done they get back to posting quickly. At least I knew "unofficially" that I had passed from pearsonvue. I think you will be OK. I hope you get that positive result today!!!
