Grant for a vacation to get marriedRegister Today!
- by bee84 Feb 8I'm getting married this coming December (everything is settled: wedding caterers,ceremony,invitations,etc..) It just so happen that Saudi Aramco and King Khalid University Hospital phone me up to attend an interview for possible employment. I know these are respectable institutions since I've been to Saudi before. My fiancee is very supportive about this but I doubt if ever I get hired and be deployed in a few months, will the above mentioned hospitals would grant me to file an early vacation to get married? I believe that Saudi honors the right to get married and that because in my previous employer, the hospital grants my colleague to come home to the Philippines if they are getting married. I wonder if Saudi Aramco or KKUH will reconsider this. Any enlightenment regarding this matter will be highly appreciated.Poll: will saudi aramco/KKUH grants a newly hired nurse for vacation to marry?

- Feb 10 by CranberryJuiceWho is your employer? If it's a government employer, most often than not they will grant your request depending on your administration. You can have a partial vacation that could last for 15-20days. But I think you are to pay for your tickets. The other option is emergency resignation but you will loose your benefits.. Just try to inquire other nurses who are working specifically in KKUH because they know what are the terms. I am working in a government hospital in Saudi.
