New Year's Eve Plans

Well, since no one here in the mountains seemed to be too interested in Christmas greetings, is there anyone here that have plans for New Year's?
I wish everyone the best in the coming year.

After my 3rd 12 hour shift in a row...and believe me it was a busy day in the ICU...I am planning on soaking my feet, taking a hot shower, and using my massager I bought myself for christmas. Then going to BED!!! Nighty night!!

New Year's hasn't been quite the big deal it used to be back in my drinking days, which ended 13 years ago tonight. :) But we're still staying up till midnight, watching the ball drop and shooting off a few fireworks (if the wind and rain die down a little, that is!), and toasting the New Year with sips of sparkling cider in wine glasses. Nothing exciting........but we've never been much for parties or "going out" on New Year's Eve anyway, so we don't feel like we're missing much.

Your evening sounds like mine. I would rather be safe and sober than out on the roads. It is pretty mild here, a few fire crackers will go a long way tonight. Anyway, here's hoping you have a great 2005.
