by slamminsamsters Jan 31, '08I just finished my course to become a STNA. I am newly certified and looking for employment in the Wheeling, WV area. I applied at the Wheeling Hospital, but have not heard anything back from them.
My aim is to make it into a hospital, but if I cannot get in- I will settle for a position at a nursing center. Does anyone know of any places hiring for STNA's.. good pay & benefits. I am looking for something full time...?
Or anyone that can give me advice on getting into the W. Hospital?

I am going to move this to the WV forum for better input - Feb 1, '08 by NorynI have not heard much about either. Are you talking about Weston? We have a WV poster who works there or at least did. If so then you go to the WV DOP website and print out an application to get on the registry. Then Weston can pull your information pretty quickly.
- Feb 1, '08 by barefootladyThere is a site for looking at employment opportunities in that area of WV I am sure, but I always find out more information by clicking onto the Marietta Times site, going to classified site, going down the list and picking the Stubenville, Ohio area. It may seem long and drawn out but that site covers several areas of WV, Ohio, and sometimes Pa and Md. You could click onto wheelinghospital.org and see what comes up. Good luck in your looking.
