Swedish Nurse Residency Sept 2014

U.S.A. Washington

This forum is for the new grad RN Residency Program starting in Sept 2014, at Swedish Medical Center, in Seattle, WA.

Still waiting as well. I interviewed at the beginning of July.

toucheturtle that sounds awesome, I would be interested in volunteering in some capacity at Swedish or Children's... but I think it will be good to get the hang of things first. I also got my offer etc. and passed my NCLEX so hopefully I'll be meeting you in the fall. Walad - I think I almost was in the same boat. I saw that my application had been turned down but I think I was emailing them back and forth asking about interview times and they gave me an interview and I was accepted. So I think it is definitely worth trying to get a hold of them throughout the process and just making sure they know you are interested, good luck!

Did anyone else hear back regarding the position in Edmonds?

I am thinking on doing my ASN at NSCC. I am a LPN. How was the COMPASS MATH test that is mandatory BEFORE one can apply to NSCC?

I appreciate any help.

Does anyone know when Swedish will have their next residency? I think I'm taking NCLEX in September.

I just applied to the Jan and Feb residencies. They say they are part-time. Does anyone know how long the residency is part-time for? I obviously need full-time work.
