I didn't see the postmark on mine because I had my BFF get my mail (I'm at work ) but I assume they were mailed out yesterday as I live 10 miles away from SU.

BTW, I love up north. I've spent some time in Bellingham and Birch Bay. Beautiful.

There really wasn't a post mark on mine, it was a new sort of stamp. The letter was dated the 26th though. Interestingly, my SPU rejection letter WAS dated the same day, but I got SPU's yesterday, and I got SU's today.

Bah! I received a rejection letter to SU stating transfer students who usually apply have done at least 36 transferable credits and what not...

Although, I have all of my prereq's done, a "decent" gpa of 3.6, an Associates of Arts and Associates in Pre-Nursing, 5 years of healthcare experience as a lab assistant working with patients of various ages, diversity, mental and physical disabilities in various departments- while performing venipunctures, processing/accessioning specimens and pathologies. My volunteer experience includes CNA in a family home for the past 8 years, on-call for the past 7 years as an office aid for a low income family practice office, and 1 year in the American Red Cross as part of the Shelter Disaster Team, as well as First Aid Response Team.

And I really thought I was close... :bag:

@Irienna

I am sorry you didn't get accepted. It sounds like you have a great healthcare background, and your grades ARE decent :) I wish you luck in the future!

Sorry!!! It is baffling to me when people with qualifications like you don't get in. My friend used to be an EMT and has worked as a CNA for over a year AND has an excellent GPA and she has gotten rejected twice now. I just don't get it.

@Csweet I just saw you got in too! Congrats.

I didn't get a letter but I only live 6 miles from SU. Guess they sent it out yesterday. Seems like most got accepted yesterday. Trying to stay positive!

@lubell26 Thank you! I have my fingers crossed you'll get a letter with good news today!! If you don't get it today, it might come tomorrow too. There was 2 days difference between my letter and when it got to me.
