@Just_keep_swimming... Well there are 40 people in our cohort (class). PLU has a 3 year program because they have more clinical hours than any other school (about 1000) and they start you off slow with only 1 nursing class. This gives you the chance to take the Gen Eds that PLU requires. PLU has a great reputation in the community and is worth the extra year. Also, PLU's program is designed to start when you are a sophmore so for anyone who starts at PLU, you actually are in a normal 4 year bachelor's program. Personally, I would complete my degree. I was in the military myself and I don't regret my decision. You can use the GIBill while you are taking classes and PLU participates in the yellow ribbon program so all of your tuition is covered. PLU also gives out HUGE scholarships so that will probably help. In the end, if you have to take a small loan, then its not the end of the world. I think I just wouldn't have brain dumped a bunch of my chemistry knowledge. You actually need some of it. Class is going great! It's worth every minute and every penny!

Hi I was looking through post after post about any information on PLUs LPN-BSN and this thread is the only one I found with LPNs talking about the process and getting accepted. I myself applied to the LPN-BSN to start Feb 2015 and have a few question if you don't mind answering. Do you know how many LPNs they accept each year? and is your cohort LPNs slots all filled, ok last one you received your acceptance letter in May what was the next step after that..I'm stressing out waiting on an answer!! Thank you for your time and Congrats on getting accepted!!

Hello everyone. I just got my acceptance letter to PLU LPN -BSN program Im beyond excited. But so nervous at the same time was told will start fall sept. How are the classes? Schedule? Any experience with the program would help ease my mind. It would be nice to get to know anyone in my cohort as well.
