  1. I got the same emails & emailed someone in the nursing admin office. her response was that decisions would probably not be sent out until around June. So I guess its gonna be a long 2 months before we see some progress .....Good times indeed
  2. @ CSWEET - I was responding to an earlier question regarding Seattle Uni (where I to the ELMSN program). The email I received from Seattle Uni was back in early Feb. They have already conducted interview and I think they might be wrapping things up. All the best!
  3. @lubell26 - According to the last email I go from SU: at this time you have not been selected for an interview. Additional interviews may still be conducted. You will receive a final decision letter either at the end of this process. - so all I can to is just hope that they put me on a wait list or an opening comes up/an applicant changes their minds regarding SU. In the meantime, I am also waiting to hear from PLU and other associate programs at community colleges. I didnt get accepted to UW's proctored essay. So you are right, there is always a chance! I have 2 last pre-reqs to finish between now & summer.
  4. @lubell26 Welcome to the PLU party..... I had been looking for a current plu forum & had not able to find one, so decided to get things started. I applied to SU- APNI program & didnt get invited to an interview, although there is still a 50/50 chance that I could get an invite. Either way, I just need one acceptance letter from PLU, SU or Somewhere. Do you have CNA, LPN or healthcare experience?
  5. @ Sarah...... I am also finishing up my pre-reqs at TCC & am currently working as a CNA in a hospital setting. I tied my CNA experience and career goals to the letter of acceptance (hopefully it pays off.....Time will tell). From what I have heard, they usually respond via email from April to June. Applicants don't have to go in for an interview or anything. Which could be a +/-. Either way, cant wait to hear back from PLU: since I didn't get accepted to UW or SU.
  6. Oh nice. Good luck. Where did you take your pre-reqs? I am just finishing up with my last pre-req at a local community college. Do you have direct patient care experience (just wondering). Feel free to post your progress so that the rest of us can anticipate letters of admission.
  7. Greetings, I was just wondering if there are any PLU BSN 2013 applicants. I put name if a few hats (UW, SU + ADN/CC programs) and I am sure there are multiple applicants to the PLU programs. Just trying to get a feel from applicants. Also, if there are any current PLU BSN students or Alumni, feel free to chime in on the PLU BSN program. Thanks & all the best to everyone! Food for thought: The road of least resistance is the road of least progress.
  8. New just in (1/25/13)...It looks like the msn/apni applications are in the finishing stages. I just got an email from the Director of Grad Admission........ Nursing faculty will be finishing their review of your application materials around the beginning of February then meeting to determine which applicants will be invited to interview for the program. For your planning purposes, please note we are planning to conduct interviews between February 23 - March 2.

  10. Fellow applicant, thanks for the reply and link to interview questions. That is really helpful. Is it Fall term yet? I cant wait to get into the program & hit the ground running. Oh well, time will tell! All the best to you & the rest of the APNI applicants!
  11. Greetings, I have a bachelors in a non-nursing field and recently applied to the Seattle U MSN (APNI) program. I was just wondering if there are folks out there that received any form on update regarding their application?? Also, does one have an idea of the types of interview questions to expect at the interview (assumming that everything does not go your way in the beginning). I am sure it will be something along the less the lines of group interview where they try to drill you w/questions. All the best future Rns/ARNPs........etc
