Online 5 credit math classes?

U.S.A. Washington

Hi there, I am looking to see if anyone knows of any online non proctored math classes? I need a 5 credit math class and with my full time sporadic schedule it is very difficult for me to go to campus at all. I have taken a lot of online classes in the past. I am looking for something self paced that most community colleges accept. It needs to be 5 credits, I can only find 3 credits but I haven't done much research. Can anyone recommend any schools or online programs where I can complete this and won't have to take any preq classes? I need to take an intermediate algebra class. Thank you!

South Seattle College (in West Seattle) has a variety of online math classes that aren't proctored. I TA for the statistics class...which you'll need for nursing. Some professors to try out would be Frank Post, Haley Skipper, John Toutongi.

Hope that helps!

Bellevue College has 5 credit online math classes. Most require proctored exams, but will let you use your own proctor if you can't make it to the campus...the instructor will tell you how to set that up. I took all of my math classes online. Most only have two or three tests that you wither take on campus in the evening or with your own proctor.

what about any online schools not through community colleges?

What do you mean? If you need college credit for a class you have to take the class through some sort of accredited college, meaning a college, university, or some technical schools (either online or on campus). There are online schools. Most are for-profit and can be very expensive, but there are some that aren't ( is the only one coming to mind at the moment). Just make sure that the program you are trying to get into (I am assuming you are taking this math class as a prereq for something) accepts the class you take and credits from the school you take it from.
