If the state bon does not require CGFNS exam then there is no need to take it. You do however need CES from CGFNS. A couple of states require CGFNS exam, most states require CES and a couple do their own assessments. Regardless on which state you apply initial licensure if you change states to work then you need to comp;ete requirements for foreign trained nurse. If doing CES I would suggest doing the full course. Please have a read in the Internation forum as I am sure you will find plenty of inormation there.
