Admitted George Washington ABSN Fall 2014

U.S.A. Washington DC

Published

Hello!! I just got my acceptance letter last week and I am soooo excited!!! I will be moving to Ashburn from Portland, OR. I am wondering if anyone has any housing plans or tips? The DC area is crazy expensive....I am just curious about future housing plans and/or best areas to live that are close to classes??

Hi everyone! I've also been admitted to GWU's Fall 2014 ABSN program. Feeling super excited and relieved :) Have you all joined the Facebook group? Is it private?

Specializes in Neuro, Ortho, Med/Sur.

Be careful - the GW nursing program is located the suburbs of DC - Ashburn VA. There is no access to metro from the location (used to be farmland). There is great biking opportunities on the W&OD bike trail, though. I just wanted to make sure you don't think the program is in DC - which is turning into a big biking town slowly.

Hi everyone, I'm considering applying to GWU. I have one outstanding prerequisite. will that hurt my chances? Also, I'm curious... of accepted applicants. what were your stats? I already have a B+ in ethics...

how early did you apply?

Hi everyone!

I am also from Portland Oregon and am finishing my B.S. in Dietetics from OSU this upcoming spring. I am really interested in moving to the DC area to mix things up a bit.

Currently my cGPA is a 3.1 and my sGPA is 3.4....is this competitive with students who have been accepted in the past!

Also to answer the question above the app doesn't open until Oct.15 which is when the new nCAS is released

@ Portlander3 What is cGPA and sGPA?

Sorry cumulative gpa and science gpa

Hi guys, I'm a current student, my GPA was a 3.4 when i applied and i still had to finish my ethics course. I'm not sure what my science GPA was.

Hey everyone! I got accepted to the fall 2017 program. Wondering if anyone that was accepted to Washington squared can give me a little insight into the program? Since some of you may be working now? I would truly appreciate it!
