I saw on the BON website that Sentara has requested an okay for a change in type of program offered. Is Sentara going to go from a Diploma to a Degree Program?

I've spoken with their faculty ... and yes, they are planning to switch their program from a diploma program to a BSN program. Contact the school if you would like to know the details and how it would effect their requirements, your timetable for graduation, etc.

Hi,

I just graduated from Sentara, and yes they are planning on having a BSN program starting in January of 2009. They will also offer a RN to BSN program. Good luck!

Wow, that kinda sucks for me. I just withdrew my application. I was accepted to TCC and Sentara and EVERYONE I spoke to told me to opt for the degree. I hope I haven't made the wrong choice.:banghead:

I was recently told my a girl in my Soc class that they were trying to go to a bachelors program. So I called them and the girl kinda laughed. She said that they have applied for it and that they should know something before fall. But that it probably won't start until Aug 09 or Jan 2010. She said to keep going to Sentara's website for updated info.
