I applied for the July 26th RN program. I was wondering when we will find out if we got accepted or not and has anyone been accepted yet? Thanks.

Call your advisor. I don't know for sure but would imagine you should know by now.. Did you already complete your pre-req's? I decided to go with the LPN program because there were too many "what-if's" for the RN... I was told you have to COMPLETE the pre-req's before they'll even make a decision, because your grades on the pre-req's are taken into consideration.

I also applied for that program and heard back yesterday. Good luck!

Congrats! I found out Saturday that I was also accepted. I didn't realize we were going to find out so late that we were accepted.

Can you give me some information about the MCI RN program? How long is the program? What pre requisites did you need to start? Are you at the VB MCI? Do you know if their RN program in accredited? Any information you have would be great.

Thanks for your information

The RN program is 15 months. I think the prerequs are math, computers, and chemistry. I didn't have to take any prereqs so I'm not entirely sure. Last I heard the RN program is not NLNAC accredited. I was told it should be accredited by the time classes start this month but who knows. When you go to MCI to meet with an advisor they will want you to take the TEAS entrance exam. I only had time to take the reading part and I went back to finish it a few days later. The TEAS consists of reading, math, science, and english. There are study guides if you think you might need some refreshing.
