Home Health Care salary

U.S.A. Virginia

Published

Good evening everyone! I had a quick question. There is a home health care agency who is interested in hiring me. I am a new grad. and on the application it asks WHAT IS THE MINIMUM YOU WILL ACCEPT and the MAXIMUM you will accept as far as salary. I do not know that much about home health. I did a check on salary.com and the average looks to be around $60,000. What is the going rate in Virginia?? 60,000 seems like an awful lot to ask for as a new grad. That is the current average right now according to salary.com. Is that too much to ask for as a new grad.??

can somebody pleaseeeee tell me which home care agencies are considered as good one for new grads in ny?

i realy need that information.

If you are interested about agencies in NY you should check out the NY or home health forums. More likely for people to see your post there.

I currently live in Rhode Island, RN's new grads can start anywhere from $23-30 an hour. I am currently looking for a job in Virginia as an RN, but I only have about 8 months of experience. All the home health care that I have contacted said that I need at least one year experience. Was wondering what company you contacted? Can anyone help? Please.
