Our paper is done and its beautiful. Then the 6th person just showed up at 9:00 pm with her part. She's apologizing, but you had 7 days and you never communicated with us on the DB only 1 time for intro. I do not want to do over the paper...what should I do? I dont want to be mean....everyone else had to do her questions.

LoL I am thankful for my group they are all there and areawesome!

But go by what the online chat said. Tell her you're sorrybut you all have already done the work take it up with your AC and don't addher name to the paper....its harsh but we are all adults people need to takeresponsibility for their actions lol or in her case lack of.....Don't feel badto call someone out it has to be done to keep the integrity of the group. Youwant them doing it again next week?

I see that some of you got lucky with being in a productive group. I had the WORST week since starting the program. These people drove me crazy!!!! I put up a lot of effort since monday by dividing the assignments, making suggestions on how to approach the questions, reading every students' darn answers and making corrections since 5 of them DID not listen to the OOH chat nor did they even know it existed! This is after I posted a direct link to the discussion to make it easy on them. 6 of us posted our answers on time, 1 person posted the answer the LAST day and kept making up excuses about working so and so hrs and taking 3 classes (really?). Only 2 of us reviewed other people's answers.. The rest just posted their part and got quiet until I posted a discussion about participation and a warning that I will notify the coach about each member's level of contribution. I was chosen as the group leader but I have no desire in taking lead, I felt that I was doing more of babysitting than leading a class of professional nurses!!! The only other person who is helping out volunteered to submit the assignment, I told her to add the amount of contributions of each students but she totally ignored my post and added everyone's name as if we all put in the same amount of work. I felt this was totally unfair and I got a sense that the students aren't liking me since I have been pushing them to participate more. I am not there to make friends so this is my last concern. I have notified the coach about this and she seems to understand and told me to make sure I include the level of contribution, but am I going to work this hard and do most of the work the whole class? I am also taking nurs 3325 and working full-time nights! I really am not looking forward to the next 4 weeks :banghead:

Any suggestions would be appreciated! Will I be put in a different group if I change my last name? lol j/k

I'm so sorry. This was tough week for my group as well. I had 3 other people who participated to the end. Then 1 turned up friday night after it was due friday morning. Then the last turned up at about 8/9 last night and literally told me off saying that she was on time since the paper was not due until 2355. She never participated once. I was not going to review her work at that time to add her, as it was a group effort to revise everyone's section. I told her nicely that there was a due date and that the plan was not to work on the paper that late. I also referred he to the assignment where I wrote everyone has to be responsible for themselves. I have other classes too, but I got the work done.

Was it after the due date? Our due date was Friday! That is not right! I just posted in our group that we need to show up everyday, not go 2-3 days without! I personally go on there 2-3 times a day, everyday!

Ok, I am a little confused with week 2! We have to pick the correct design, which I believe is in the method section.

I do believe that they put us in groups so that we can work together, but secretly makes me wonder....

This class isn't as bad as holistic health assessment, I typed up sooo much!

Holistic health assessment was a beast...this class is just confusing with the directions and assignments..but I guess I'll wait and see.

I thought the 1st assignment was ridiculous. I think they want us to purposefully fail. I HATE this class because other people can cause you to fail. Our group lost 11.5 points out of 32. Ridiculous.

I also think they throw 1-5 out there without any direction. Most people have never done research and have no clue what they are asking for.
