N3325 Holistic Care of Older Adults

Taking Texas Govt with Stats in January. Not sure about nursing courses with those classes. Probably won't take one until March/April whenever the next one rolls arounds, just not January.

You should be just fine w/ Texas Gov. As I told you before, you can finish early and knowing you, you will do that.

Do you need Hist II? I thought at onetime you said you did, but maybe not. That will be my last gen ed course and from what I have read here, it's a lot of work. I just don't know what to pair it with. Any ideas?

Also, do you just need Research, Vulnerable, Leadership, and Capstone?

amyrnfa, I need to take Hist I, Texas govt and a literature class. I could kick myself for not retaking History 30 years ago. Oh we'll! Glad to have you guys along with me! I am depressed now about getting older after taking this class. ScarletFire, hope your next 3 days are not bad. I am moving my mom to an assisted living nearer my sister. Fun Saturday activity . But I love her! Later

that's good that you're moving your mom to a place near your sister. you are a good daughter and i'm sure you love her lots. don't worry about assessment. i'm sure it will be a killer, but we'll manage.

Sorry to say this, but after all the writing in Literature, Health Assessment wasn't too bad. At least you are familiar with that information, unlike literature. It was very time consuming and should probably be taken by itself unless you don't work.

I guess American Lit would be about the same!! I will save hist I for much later down the road. I am just bummed I have to take any of this pre reqs since I muddled through a BS degree 30 years ago. Oh well, we have to play the game to reach our goals.

Amy or Rosemary,

on the last assignment, in the final reflections section, i assume we merely write the letter, Y (indicating Yes) under "Can perform all at this time" next to each competency topic. Or, is there something more to it than this?

It is just like the Self-Assessment from week 1, should be able to answer Y to everything now.

thanks, amy. I did look back on my submission from week 1 but this one seemed much more abbreviated.

How's it going for you this week? hope you are winding down Brit lit.

I finished the Grieving paper; as usual, at first glance it seemed like i could get it done in an hour or so, but once i got into it, it wasn't like that. still, overall not a bad class w/ regard to assignments.

glad to hear you are finished. Congratulations! i'll send in my assignment tomorrow and probably do the quiz then, too. WOW, the readings this week are long.

i'm busy w/ my other classes and just trying to cram everything in my head before the test. i have a big one mon and then a huge final later in the week. Amy has essays, tests, and papers all due this week in her other class, too.

Ladies, glad this year is almost over. Have a good holiday with no readings, DB, or assignments! If you are still taking N3425 in January, I know you're ecstatic. Just get it over with. Will also check in occasionally after Christmas. (I still have shopping to do..ughhh)
