Made it through the class fine with easy A. I will say that when I overlapped this class with Holistic Care of Older Adults that I did get stressed out more than I wanted to. Both classes are not that difficult, but if you are working full time and have a family, things start to pile up, at least for me (a lot of reading). I'm starting on Health Promotion Across the Lifespan on 4/8. The journey continues! See you elswhere TxMonci!

Is the text book necessary for med terminology? I start the class next week just want to know before I buy it. Also can you take quizzes ahead of time? Thanks

The book is necessary if you want to pass the exams. You cannot take quizzes ahead of time, they open for a 24-hour window.

I don't think it is possible to not have the text book. I didn't really read the test book, but I needed it to study the prefixes, roots, and suffixes for the test. You can take the quizzes and MTIs ahead of time, but not the actual exam. I think it would be best to take the quizzes a few days before the test and not way ahead of time. The quizzes help you prepare for the test.
