Hi everyone!

I'm currently in school to finshed my RN. i will finish this summer. In the mean time, I'm and LPN and I work in one of the top rated hospitals in the country. 'been working for 3 yrs, and by the time I finish my RN I will have 4 yrs experience under my belt as an LPN.

My unit specializes in gyn/uro with an addition to postpardem mothers with high risk infants, and orthopedics. I really want to travel nurse in LA and I wondered what companies should I look at, and would I stand a chance at getting a decent assignment with my experience? Also what should I expect as a an RN?

Thanks!

ive been in LA the last year, and am just getting ready to leave. So far its been really fun and ill probably come back after ive travled for a bit. You might need a bit more experience as an RN, but you would have to talk to recruiters to find out. As far as companies go, most can find you an assignment there in most of the hospitals. The only exception is Cedars Sinai, where im working now, is exclusive with Cross Country. I work in their ICU and they require 3 years ICU experience so just FYI you may need to get experience first. Its not that hard to find an assignment, most companies should be able to find you something.
