Does anyone have any experience working w/ RN network in either SF or SD? I was told to go w/ American Mobile b/c the pay is higher but I've been hearing good things about RN network. I would love any feedback, PM me if you have any opinions either way about them.

I am hoping to start my first travel nursing job here very soon. However in reguards to your company info. I have heard the same about american mobile being the best travel nursing company to go with however I have heard nothing good about there company and the way they treat there travelers. I can say that I am hoping to go to San diego so they were the first that I contacted. The recruiter was so rude and basically didn't try to help me find what I wanted at all. She said I wouldn't find a position anywhere. Well that was it for me . I have heard lots of good things about rnnetwork so working with them now as well as nursesrx. I have been told to always use more than one travel company. However i still do not have any positions. So take it for what its is. I am begining to wonder if its all just a bunch of luck involved with these travel nursing companies.

:eek:Goins, what type of nursing do you do? I am also looking to go to San Diego after the first of the year. I am an OR nurse and I am expecting to be travel positions in San diego. Maybe not:bluecry1:. I have looked at some of the hospitals and they are hiring perm people so you would think there is a need. I wont know until its time

Good Luck!

Hi RNRNFA, I am a neuro nurse 5 yrs. + . I really would love a neuro stepdown unit however that seems difficult to accomplish, and I am working with about 4 agencies. San Diego had one spot for me however they resigned with a past traveler. I would love to go to San Diego but I'm looking at San Francisco now dut to difficulties finding a neuro job. Seems like the or wouldn't be a problem. Keep me posted. we may end up in the same city? Ha ha ha

I worked for RN Network in S. California and I enjoyed every minute of it..I had a GREAT recruiter that made sure everything was right. He was always very easy to get in touch with. I would highly recommend this company. If you would like his name let me know.Good Luck!!Pamela

I was going to go with RN Network and I really liked them but my recruiter with Preferred health care (a sister company of American Mobile) got me a good job with fab pay. They were offering as much as the other companies though I had heard that traditionally AM offers less.

I think you would be ok with either but it all depends on your recruiter really. There is more money to be made in Northern Cali. it seems.

If you want my recruiters name just let me know. I like preferred because they use the same resources as american mobile and really you are an american mobile employee but the office with recruiters seems smaller -- more individual attention.

plz anybody help me i talked with so many recruiters but no hit to find a job in ca i,m all set just need a employer letter to get tn visa is thia a big deal???????????????
