Questions about traveling nurse in Kona Hawaii

Specialties Travel

I took my first assignment there but now I can't find publick trasportation. If any one has traveled to Kona Or Hilo I would greatly appreciate the info on the car situation. Thanks Sandy:caduceus:

I traveled to Hilo last summer for 13 weeks and LOVED it. They (your agency) should supply you with a car as there is no public transportation on the Big Island. There are car rental agencies at both airports.

Hey, What Specialties are they using in Hilo? I have ER, and OR but don't want to work ICU or any of the Med Surg floors. Would love to spend 13 weeks on Hawaii exploring, especially if the agency provides a car.

We;; they are going to allot me 200.00 a month, but the rental for the time I am there is 2400.00. Do you mind pm me to know who you did your travel assignment through? Mahaola and Aloha

Hilo has most needs. ER is in great demand, especially is you have a strong background. I worked the ER there and floated to ICU sometimes. I will be going back soon....it was that wonderful.
