Did anyone else get the email from MedStaff or NovaPro about the 96 hour biweekly travel contract for neuro ICU, CVICU, or progressive care in RI? It says up to $40,000 for 3 months. Anyone else interested? I'm thinking about it but I have to weaseled my way outta my current contract in NH. Before I saw the email I told my recruiter about disliking my current position as a critical care float pool nurse.

Anyway, does anyone know the catch? Is it a god awful place to work? How does the $40,000 pay out? Pay like a regular contract then an insanely huge completion bonus? I'll be contacting my recruiter tomorrow about it, but thought someone here would know something to give me a heads up.

Providence itself is a pretty funky fun city...lots of colleges and culture and arts. Work wise, I have no idea. I did clinicals at the Meriem Hospital in the 80s ......liked it then.
