Hi - I'm a traveler in New Mexico right now. Not sure what hospital you were referring to in your post. As for places to live in Albuquerque, the Northeast Heights area is a good area to live in. If you are looking at apts. I may be able to suggest some to look at. Albuquerque is a great area - lots to do and wonderful scenery!

First and foremost.....all Presby nurses wear white. Are you moving to Albe or travelling here? I'm a traveller at Lovelace Downtown.....second tour. Depending on what you like to do, there's a lot to see and do in this state...that's for sure. Everything from casinos to great state parks and exploring. Housing is mildly expensive. Might I suggest you try one of the extended stay hotels in the area before you choose an apartment? Rio Rancho area is peaceful, well patrolled by the police and travel to downtown (where the hospitals are) is relatively simple. I work 7p-7a and it takes me about 25 to 30 minutes door to door. AM traffic anywhere in this city is lousy. Of course, an accident on I40 or I25 can screw up your time table royally. Welcome to the Southwest.

The RN's at Presbyterian do not wear all white - they wear white tops, and royal blue pants. Each department has different color requirements as to differentiate caregiver roles.

Hey there! Interested in keeping me posted on your decisions?
I am soon to be a first time traveler -MS and thinking of NM or AZ. Very terrified! (I actually just quit my job -when my first assignment fell through! So now I am in a pickle, inquiring about all the different opportunities!) PM me if you want.
