I worked there and honestly that place was the worst assignment I ever had. They treat you like crap. They float you all the time, including to ER without any cross training. Now I don't have a problem with working ER but I also don't consider it the same as ICU, which is what they told me. It is a different beast entirely. Besides I asked them in the interview about where I could float and ER was never mentioned. If they don't need you the way they get out of having to pay you is by asking if you will work tele (6-8 patients) or go to one of the other hospitals in the network(20 miles away). If you say no then they can cancel you without pay. Over all I found that place very shady. When I was there in the SICU I saw some very bad practices. For example one of my pts had a sponge left in him after Surgery. I discovered another pt hadnt gotten his post op antibiotics for 2 full days. Needless to say he developed a massive infection and went in to septic shock. The week before I started 5 night nurses quit due to unsafe working conditions in the ICU. They were getting 3-4 pts due to staff shortages. In one 4 week period I floated 10 of 12 shifts and that was not to far from the norm. When I floated to step down I got dumped on. Always first admit and the first to transfer pts while the actual staff sat around and offered no help. So I guess what I am saying is that facility was horrible. HORRIBLE! I would seriously reconsider working there.

I traveled with RN network for 3 years. I am not currently traveling as I am starting school again this month. I was there last summer. The pay was not bad, but it could of been extraordinary and that place still would not of been worth it.

Had the worst travel assignment ever there in Jan. 2008. Hired on for med surg they assigned me to gen med floor with 7 to 8 pts a day with absolutely no help from the staffers. typical 12 hour shift was taking 14-15 hours then they complained about overtime. When asked to assign me to a med surg floor as per my contract they tried to get me to accept nights. When I said no, they cancelled the contract. Watch yourself. It is a very difficult work environment.
