Help picking company

Hi everyone, I'm thinking of trying travel nursing, but I'm confused about picking a company. I've looked at several of them and have heard good and bad about most. How do you determine the best company to go with? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I was just asking that question the other day. I'm thinking of changing companies. Here is what it comes down to - I was told to sign up for all three:

Freedom Healthcare
Fastaff
OnAssignment.

That's what I'm going for. I was told they have the best contracts and rates. I think I've been told enough to finally listen and just sign up already! Just as long as you have a minimum of 2 years of experience, and plenty of references with the company heading on the letter.

I am traveling with cross country and if you want to travel in nyc or florida they are the primary company used. i've heard they have some sort of monopoly in fl and you can't work there without going through them in some form. maybe you'll work for another company, but that co. will go through xctry, since they are based in fl and are a huge company. i have had really good experience with them.

What it comes down to is this... is your recruiter on the ball? if so... you'll have a good experience. if not, then it may not be so good.

I have nothing but good things to say about them
