I completed my first assignment just before Christmas. I went with World Health and was at University Hospital in Cincinnati. It was a pretty positive assignment except for the fact that I had to move in the middle of it (through no fault of mine or my agency's). Now I'm trying to get to the west/southwest for the rest of the winter. My recruiter with World Health has not been real good about finding me much in the areas I'd like to work in (Phoenix, Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, Sacramento)...well, correction, she found me a couple but they were NOT what I asked for which is stepdown, progressive care, or ICU. For some reason she seems to think med/surg tele is the same thing, and she can't understand why I turned down two of those.

I'm talking to a recruiter with NursesRx now, and she's "miraculously" found me 3 possibilities in the Phoenix area, but the pay is a bit lower than World Health offers. Now I'm hearing some not-so-good things about NursesRx. What gives?

I had a recruiter with Trustaff but he left. I was assigned to another one, and while I was in Cincinnati I actually went down and talked to him. I've heard nothing from him since, nor have I heard anything from On Assignment, who I also contacted at the end of my last assignment. I also had a recruiter from there call me just about the time I'd accepted my assignment with World Health. I'm not above jumping agencies if I get a better offer, but I don't want to be messed over. Anyone have any experience with these agencies?

On Assignment has done well by me for 4 years.

Specializes in ER, NICU, NSY and some other stuff.

Worls health used to be Pulse right?? I traveled with Pulse and then they cahnged theri name I believe to world health. They treated me very well.

I am currently with Trinity Healthcare Staffing group and they are great mostly in the fact that my travel plan is fit for my needs. They have a lot of Phoenix jobs, but don't know exactly about some of the other places.
