Canadian nurse looking to work in US

I will be graduating with my Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree next Wednesday. I am a Canadian citizen, and am interested in moving to the US. From what I have researched, my US employer will submit an application for a work visa, or I will submit an application for a work visa after I have been offered a position.

Does anyone know the best way to seek a position from a US hospital?

Well, you submit an application to hospitals you're interested in, for positions they have open for which you're qualified. However, I'll tell you up front that most US employers will not want to talk to you until you have a state nursing license in hand (the state in which the hospital is located; each US state licenses and regulates nurses within its own borders). Also, there's not a great deal of demand for new, inexperienced US nursing graduates, let alone those coming from other countries who require visas and additional paperwork. You should not expect to be able to just walk into a job. You may have a lot of difficulty finding anything. If you were an experienced RN, that would be different.
