Anyone do L&D Travel Nursing in Renton WA?

I will be doing a 13 week assignment on L&D at the end of this month (November, 2008) at Valley Medical Center in Renton Washington. Has anyone ever done an assignment at this hospital in L&D or in Renton?

I'll be driving across from New York City and am looking forward to the trip, for I expect it to be pretty nice.

I worked there, oh, 20 years ago. Busy place. Traffic bites.

Specializes in NICU.

I did my senior practicum in the NICU there, which is connected to the L&D unit. When I went over to the birthing center for high-risk deliveries, I got to see some of the patient rooms and they're very nice! As far as the hospital itself, I commuted from Seattle and it wasn't too bad. Probably about a 20-30 minute drive. Decent cafeteria.
