Hi,

I am new to allnurses.com and I wanted to start a topic for the Spring 2013 applicants at UTHSC Houston. Where we can keep each other posted on the process as it nears. I have yet to take the HESI but i wonder if anyone else has taken it and what their score was. I will compile my GPA's later and post them on here.

Has anyone heard anything from the school? I would have thought more people would have heard something by now. It seems as if only the first 50 people has been contacted. (Just my guess)!

No, haven't heard anything either. I sent an email two days ago about my course eval and got a very quick response (about my GPA), but nothing about acceptance. I know there's nothing I can do except wait so I'm keeping myself very busy. It's good to have others who are going thru this process too! We will have to just hang on a little longer, it'll be worth it once we get accepted!! (Positive thinking!!)

I am really trying to be patient but this wait is killing me:banhappy: I wonder if applicants that were notified already were considered early decision/applicants or is there some other method to this madness. I pray we here something this week!

I know it is harder said than done, but for those of you still waiting, don't worry or give up hope just yet. I know many students who heard much later down the road about getting in, even a couple of people who got rejection letters originally got phone calls asking if they would like to attend. The madness is never fun, but well worth the wait..... Or atleast it is worth the wait until they started testing us ;)

Hello everyone! Congrats! I found this board last week and finally decided to comment, I too was accepted for the Spring. I received an email last week and now have been checking my mail everyday for the info packet! lol. And to those still waiting, best of luck to you guys!!
