Yeah I think they pull from the res apps and invite to apply for internship.

No the internship is a whole separate application and you have to request a supplemental app from them and then fill that out and then if they invite you for an interview then they have you fill out an actual application on the website...just went thru it all and have an interview set up for it

Hi! I haven't heard about these separate applications. Do you know if there is info where we can learn more about the whole process or did you hear it from someone else? (ex: the differences between their residency and internship programs)... Are you graduating this May or do you have experience? Sorry for all the questions lol and thanks in advance! :)

i graduate in May and in Chicago you have to have less than a year experience and have atleast 3.4 gpa for your last 60 credit hours....I searched around Google forever and found a PowerPoint from a few years ago about the process but it really a hasn't changed...the internship has some top notch qualities about it that o haven't seen in other programs...the residencies any nurse with any amount of experience can apply especially if it's a new specialty for them

Correct to what redbear said and I turned mine in the middle of January and they got back to me this past Monday...plus wanna get that email in because Laura seems pretty busy because there was a couple times it took a week or more for correspondence
