Nervous about a CNA state exam :-/

U.S.A. Texas

Published

Ok so I graduated from a school that only took 30 days to get my certificate but my state exam is scheduled for January 20th. I don't know what to expect, I am so nervous because one of my friends took the state exam back in 2008 and she failed the skills part, and I also heard that since the state took over it's a lot harder..so I am over here just a nervous wreck and I was really thinking of just postponing my test because I am so scared of failing the skills part of the test.I am also in college for my RN and I don't know if I should just go for it or just say forget it :-/..Please share your experiences with me how you did on the test and if you failed or not!!Thank you so much for your inputs.

If its Texas, then you should do fine. It's not difficult. Honestly I practiced on my kids and my husband the day before so that I could refresh my mind since there is a stretch between classes and the exam. Get it done, you've spent a month doing it and it may help you in school also.

Thanks a lot dear!!:-)

Relax!!!! 30 days is plenty of time to cover material for a CNA exam. Mines was that length 14 years ago. In nursing school your test every week will be more challenging. Go take the test! Good luck!!

Just an update i passed my CNA exam thank you very much
