Does anyone know when the next HESI test will be? Does it go by school or is it a city wide test?

Thanks in advance.

Are you in nursing school? Trying to get in nursing school? During nursing school, the school set them all up. You may try the HESI website and see if you can find anything there or call your school/school of intrest and ask them for details. Sorry I didn't have a more definate answer, but maybe that will help you a little in your quest for an answer.

You have to take the HESI at the school you are applying to. I just took mine yesterday. El Centro has the HESI every Tuesday at 2:30...and possibly Saturdays (I can't remember for sure)

Specializes in NICU.

I need help I graduated Diploma RN in December, we always took ATI test but our school changed to Hesi at the end. We all had to take the Hesi exit exam and I have not passed with a 900 yet!! My highest score has been 890. I don't know what to do because they will not release me to take NCLEX until a 900 or higher is scored. I just did 2000 HESI questions and every time I take it my score lowers. I have one more time. Please give advice.

Just be glad you can take the HESI exit exam so many times. We can only take it twice in our school.

I know at my school you could take it whenever the testing center was open. You have to take it in order to get in-not once you have gotten in. I think you can only take it once every four months, though. To be honest, it is super easy. You should only have to take it once.

smpbyram, HESI does have a pre-nursing exam, but they also have many more exams for nursing content. I believe that mrllock is refering to the Exit HESI that is suppose to be like NCLEX. Mrllock, I also had to take the final hesi. I used the hesi book focusing on the hesi hints boxes. In addition, I tried to apply Kaplan's test stratgies when actually answering questions. Good luck!! I am a Dec grad as well and have started a residency in the NICU. I love it!! Study a little each day and when you actually take the test, ever 50 minutes or about 50 questions, take a little break-even if it is just closing your eyes and taking a few deap breaths!
