no, you can't do the online procedure for you to endorse your license from california...

you have to mail it to them together with the other requirements....

hi guys im in the philippines how do you pay for the endorsement fees? if its a check drawn from a US bank account

follow-up question... my brother who is in california is willing to pay for my endorsement fees. can i use his U.S. PERSONAL CHECK to pay for the fees? thanks...

yes, you can use your brother's account... there is no problem with that, just as long as you use US check... that is perfectly fine...

i have a question. Im from Philippines and my California Nclex-RN will expire on 09/08/2011. Will i still be eligible for endorsement?

Also, is CES different from CGFNS Visa Screen? Can i just use my visa screen for texas? Please help. Im running out of time here. :(

yes, you are still eligible for the whole endorsement thing, you just have to make sure you do everything with their requirements, just comply it and all... you will have no problem with it... and since you have your license already with the california BON there is no need for you to do the whole thing with the cgfns or the ces.... they will only ask you to do that if you are applying with their BON to take the Nclex with them..... you should still have the time to endorse it and in no time you are already licensed with texas Bon

I'm also endorsing my CA RN license to Texas. I'm a US Citizen but i was educated in the philippines.

here's what i already did:

1. application + $200 to texas (check)

2. Fingerprint card done and sent

3. Jurisprudence exam (check)

4. CA BRN verification of license form + $60 (check, but the check that i issued hasn't been deposited yet)

5. got my temporary license

i got a letter asking for a verification of license in the philippines if i have one, but i don't i didn't take the local board examinations in the philippines. will i have any problem soon?

is it required to be licensed in the country where i am educated?

how long did it take for texas to issue your permanent license?

It's been like 4 weeks since i've sent my ca verification form to ca brn and they have not deposited my check yet.

i don't think you would have any problem with the whole set-up for the endorsement. not taking the local

exam was a choice that you did, and since it didn't give you any problem for the exam process with the ca bon

then i don't think there is a need for it. just write to them that you didn't take the local exam in the phils...

i thought, it was a need to get a license in the philippines for your papers to be processed in the ca bon but since, you didn't have any problems with it then just so go on with it and hopefully you won't have any problems with it later. i heard from a batchmate in the philippines who is actually in california right now, who actually did take his local exam bec his cousins were having problems in the processing bec they didn't take there local exam in the philippines. well just hope that you won;t have the same problem.

just hope as well that the check will be deposited soon bec that should mean that your verification was done.

anyways, write to texas bon and tell them you didn't take your exam in the philippines and also that you are processed your verification for california... try calling california as well for your verification.

since you have your temporary license now, take the jurisprudence exam... after that they will issue your license already.

Hi All!

This thread is very informative for NLCEX passers like me whose exams will "expire" months from now. I would like to know which address in California did those who successfully acquired their license send their Verification of License form. Did you guys just used the generic address from their website which is

Board of Registered Nursing

1625 North Market Boulevard, Suite N217

Sacramento, CA 95834-1924

or has any of you used this:

Attn: Renewals Unit

Attn: Licensing Unit

and if so, which unit. I've read in one thread that the licensing unit is the right department to send the request for verification of license (since we dont have an SSN yet) as the renewals Unit declined.

2. and how did you pay the $60. a detailed overview will be very much appreciated.

Thank you!

use the generic address...

that is just fine...

the verification of license can still be done there would be no problem with that even without the SSN...

you can pay the $60 thru the US check...
