Hi is anyone out there applying to the el centro nursing program for fall 2012? Would you share points and which campus you're choosing ? :)

They're pushing for more people to get their BSN now. Most hospitals are going for magnet status which means they won't hire nurses with their ADN.

Most people will do the bridge program nowadays. It seems like I have to get MSN to get jobs easily lol
Does anyone know what the points cut off was this semester??
It should be 14-15. I think El Centro is more competitive

QUESTION: On the degree plan sheet that was included with our packets.. did it have noted on there if they gave the extra points for current experience, or was that noted anywhere in the packet. I got "accepted" on that first letter, but I was not sure if they counted the extra points as part of my packet or not. I would have had 17 with the points, but 15 without them. Just curious. CAN THIS WEEK PLEASE GO BY QUICKLY !!? :)

I applied with 17 points also and two of my points came from work experience also but I didn't see anything about it in the packet either.
I didn't see it but those two pts were the only way, I could have gotton in..

Random question. Does El Centro allow students to take HESI exam at a Prometric place? do they take the test scores?
