I applied about 2 weeks before the application was due and the counselor told they were gonna call or contact me about 2-3 weeks after June 1st about what to do next. I'm anxiously waiting! Anyone else in the same boat as me? I hope there is so I can feel better. I hate waiting!

If you don't mind me asking who did you take? I've heard horror stories about the professor I'm going to take, but she's the only one that teaches that class.

I KNOW! I TOOK MY TEAS AND BAD IN SCIENCE

TEAS: Reading: 69

Math: 70 ( I AM HORRIBLE AT MATH)

VNSG 1216: CURRENTLY TAKING NOW, BUT AM DOING AWESOME IN IT...ITS SO EASY.

IM HOPING I GET IN NEXT SPRING... IM WORRIED ABOUT MY TEAS SCORES BEING TOO LOW.

I'm still new to how this forum works lol? Who did you take for 1216? I'm taking it in the fall and I'm a little worried because I've heard horror stories about the professor.

Nutrition, right? With Mrs. Luckett? She's a sweetheart, go exactly by her blueprint, and you'll be fine.

hi smartypants22! I admire you for your perseverance!! I received my acceptance letter for Fall 2014. We have a uniform fitting this Aug 1. I have a question for your first semester, did you get to choose your schedule? I mean based on the classes they have like VNSG 1400, 1122,1227,1423 and 1161. Of course, VNSG 1161 is the clinical so it's really 7a-1pm. But I went online and checked them, it looks like you can choose the time you want for the other classes (except VNSG 1161), right? Sorry for asking, because I've 2 kids and I really need to plan my schedule as early as now...thanks!

I had Ms. Luckett for my Nutrition class and she's awesome. She will give you study guide every exams. Just study hard and take her class seriously. What is good about her is that she gives lecture notes and videos online... Try to read the lecture notes the night before your class. She will ask questions while having discussions; she likes it when you're answering her questions (proof that you're studying/reading her notes and a plus on your end).

Hi guys, reading this thread and I am getting nervous about it. I applied for spring 2015 and I was sent the letter in the mail. I had my interview this past Monday and turned in the paperwork. I am nervous waiting though. My GPA isn't great but that's because I took about of other classes before nursing was my goal. My Nutrition grade was a B and my teas scores were 74% reading and 86% math. Any suggestions from anyone?

It'll take about 3-4 weeks to get your second letter to go for the uniform fitting, or your rejection letter, along with a form to send in, saying you want to be considered for the next semester. Good luck!

Smarty pants, do you think I have a chance of getting accepted? I have been praying for about a year to get in somewhere and I keep getting rejected from other colleges Texas Woman's University and UTMB and UtHSC. It's so competitive and I realize that, and I have worked hard to try and improve my grades but my GPA is still just a 2.9. I saw this program and thought I could actually have a chance here

Also does it really take 3-4 weeks? They said it would be 2 weeks and I feel like that is cutting it close if class begins January 5 and it is already November 9th.
