Any Wharton (WCJC) fall 2013 applicants for the ADN program?????

Hi! I wanted to see if anyone has applied to the ADN program at Wharton this fall. I know it will be crazy because its their first semester using the TEAS V exam. I think I was the first person to turn their application in lol ( that should get me a few extra points) lol. Let me know if you are out there, I haven't seen too many threads for Wharton and it would be awesome to talk to some fellow applicants!

Hello! Wharton is on my list to Apply but after looking over the application yet again I see that it says you must have your college transcripts evaluated a semester in advance and I have yet to have mine evaluated. Do you think it is too late? I have everything else done! I only started looking into Wharton a few weeks ago as another option. Definetly do not want to put all my eggs in one basket!

Oh I definitely understand. I am applying to 2 other schools. I would call and talk to the lady who evaluates the transcripts and see if you can get your coursework evaluated. Let me know how it goes and good luck :-) oh, how did you do on your teas v test. I was most nervous about that. I took it at the worst time and did not study like I should have. I ended up with a 75.3. I'm thinking about retaking it.

I think I will call her Monday. I live in Katy, but I am willing to drive down there and deliver them personally to get it done sooner! I am in the same boat, I scored a 74 on the Teas. I took it for UTMB and just applied with that score. I dont think I will retake it this round of applications. I am just going to apply with what I have, I am applying to four schools, i know I will get in to one! If not I will try and try again!

Omg! I am applying to utmb too:-), also wharton, blinn, and possibly UT Tyler. I live in sugarland so if I end up getting in to utmb I'm nervous about the living situation. I have no clue on good spots in Galveston. I would drive to wharton if that was my only option. Ahhhh!! Not only are the applications stressful but figuring out living arrangements are driving me nuts too lol. I just got my supplemental application from Utmb today :-)

I saw you in the UTMB thread too. I am also nervous about the living situation, driving an hour and half one way would not be ideal. I may get an apartment down there, or rent a room from someone and come home on the weekends. I just hope I hear a definite yes or no instead of being on the wait list and scrambling last minute to get things together! It will all be worth it in the end though!

I did read on a thread about people being accepted the day before class and even 2 days after class has already started. I am defiantly with you on not being on the waitng list lol. Have you gotten you mystar info yet?

I have! and I know its way too early but I still check it every few days LOL. I have to send back some sort of residency questionnaire that someone emailed me, then everything should be in. As long as they got my TEAS scores, which I sent about a week or so ago.
